Rearing, kicking, bucking, biting, runaways, refusing to move forward, fear issues, tying issues, trailer loading issues - you've got it...we can fix it! Everything but cribbing can be improved right here at the farm. Horses have limited choices in life, actually only six...left, right, fwd, backwards, up, and down. Once we take away their comfort and safety...we get unwanted behavior.  Some call it "bad behavior", I choose not to look at it in that way. If we have a horse giving us unwanted behavior, why not ask him to do something that we've already taught him and something that he finds easy? It's called the replacement concept (works with people too, by the way).

No drugs, no gimmicks, no equipment...just good ole' fashion work. Thank God horses were made to please and mirror us...if we become empowered and don't blame, complain, or criticize we can learn techniques that replace this unwanted behavior.  The horse will be happier and better doing what we ask rather than fight us.

We have to always first rule out pain and discomfort. That always needs to be addressed first. Sometimes a vet, chiropractor or farrier needs to be called in first, but once it is established....

we can go to work and help the horse live a better life ...
